Currently they own 43 stores throughout England, Scotland, and Wales including ten new home ware stores called “At Home”. In January of 2008 the Oxford store was awarded a Royal Warrant from the Queen Her Majesty for their home ware products.

If you are expiriencing a problem with a product or payment the best place to start is the customer support page of the John Lewis website. Here you can find frequently asked questions, track your online order or even live chat with a customer service representative.

To contact John Lewis over the phone call 03456-049-049. The lines are open all week 7am to midnight. If you are experiencing a technical problem with an electrical product call 0330-123-0106 for technical support. Phone lines for technical support are open 8am to 9pm on weekdays and Saturday 8am to 8pm and Sundays 10am to 6pm. You can also email them at [email protected].

If you have a complaint the company asks that you call 0345-602-5329 . They promise to solve the problem as quick as possible.

If you would like to return something you will need to do so within 14 working days of purchasing it. The company will then refund your money including any shipping fees. The company however will not return the following:

personalized products such as stationary

perishable goods such as food, or real Christmas trees

computer software that has been opened

ITunes gift cards

For all electronics the company guarantees a two year warranty at no extra cost. This means if your product breaks they will repair or replace it for no extra charge. In addition they provide customer support and at-home repairs to customers with electronics or appliances. The company also offers added care for technological products, small appliances, televisions and home appliances adding up to 5 years of protection.
